Leg hair and shorts, reassure me please

I enjoy dressing feminine, but I always wear pants. Growing up being told leg hair is gross on fem people stuck with me and I'm trying to get over it. I can wear shorts right? :') Logically I have no issues with it. I just have a mental block for me personally being able to do it, because I was told not to. No one has ever told me I should.
