Collecting funds for my cousin dowry

I am collecting funds for dowry for my cousin from my father’s side. They live in a remote area, 195/HB, Tehsil Fort Abbas. Their village was affected by floods, and they have no savings to arrange dowry for their daughter. I tried to counsel them against the dowry practice, but in a village with no internet access and where people are highly uneducated and orthodox, they are not willing to agree.

So far, I have collected a few thousand from my friends, but I still need more support. Any verification or proof required can be provided. I also contacted one NGO, but they only provided old clothes.
