Oversupply & over feeding help please

Well it turns out you can overfeed a breast fed baby because it’s happening to mine! My baby is 2 months old exactly. He gets way too much on the boob and is super upset constantly because it leads to gas and him being overly full. I’ve been working with a lactation consultant to lessen my supply but nothing is working. I tried block feeding for about a week and making sure to extend his feeds at least to 2 hours between each. We’re upping my block feeding blocks (trying to get to 5-6 hours one side) and I’m really hoping it does the trick. It’s awful seeing my baby so upset and I just feel so frustrated that this isn’t working. I want to make breast feeding to work SO badly! Does anybody have any advice for getting through this? Will my supply regulate better as he gets bigger? Right now I’m just producing so much and I need it to go down or I don’t foresee us being able to continue. Anybody who has experienced this please chime in!!!
