Where to learn taxidermy?

Does anybody know where/have any tips to learn taxidermy in Austin? I’m going to go to a taxidermy school once I save money, but in the mean time does anybody know where I could potentially get an apprenticeship or just learn some things from a taxidermist? I’m going to start some small animals soon but would like to learn from somebody. Thanks in advance for any help and advice!
