Feeling defeated planning trip to GTNP and YSNP

I’m looking into planning a trip with my partner end of June to the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone. But the hotel/Airbnb prices, specifically near the Tetons, are INSANE!!! I can’t find anything under $2,000 for a 4 night stay. And that doesn’t even include the cost of staying near YS. Is this a joke?! We even considered just renting a camper van instead but even that is still high in pricing. And it’s not that either of us are even that frugal, we like going all out on food and activities, but spending that much on accommodation just feels wrong. Is this normal?

I’m feeling so defeated and am about ready to pick a completely different travel destination.
