disputing an infringement notice (possession of alcohol in a liquor ban zone)

Civil disputes

My mates and I were parked in a liquor ban area on a side street from town, we weren’t drinking there but had a few open cans in the cup holder and unopened cans on the floor of the passenger seat.

I had to go to the car to put my jacket back and as we’re approaching the car we pass some police officers, my mates decide it’s a good idea to oink at them and call them pigs, this obviously annoys the officers so they follow us to the car. At the car the officers ask to see our licenses and question if the cars are ours, after we confirm it’s our vehicles they get a flashlight and inspect through the windows, they see the cans in the front seat and i try to argue that they’re not open and they can’t prove we were drinking them, the officer makes me open the car and opens all the cans and tips them onto the ground, he then gives me an infringement notice and a fine of $150. I’m not sure if i can dispute it and some advice would be helpful!
