Married folks! How did you guys write your vows?

For those of you who exchanged vows during your wedding ceremony, how did you go about writing it? Was there a discussion between you and your partner for how long each of your speeches should be?

Did you both share with each other what you wrote before the actual ceremony? Or was the first time hearing each other’s vows at the ceremony with all the guests?

And, any tips for writing really good vows? I really want to do a good job with this one. Thanks!
