How are you insulating your software portfolio from AI threats?

Few angles here:

  1. New AI-native startups are already showing up in a lot of verticals. They are building with agentic tooling and have agentic features from day one. How are you defending PortCos against those entrants?
  2. Some competitors have always had better engineering teams. With agentic tools, that gap can widen fast. What are you doing so your PortCo engineering orgs are not the ones left behind and bleeding market share to competitors?
  3. What are you doing outside of software development such as customer success? Are there ways you're using AI to treat more of your customer base like you treat enterprise customers? I am very interested in this part.
  4. What else belongs on this list? And am I being too alarmist here? Are you seeing margin or pricing pressure show up?

Obviously this is the topic of today and obviously nobody really has the answers. I am personally pushing hard on PortCos to adopt agentic development tooling while pushing forward our feature sets from tools to outcomes but I feel that's a pretty generic approach, nothing special.
