I guess this question could trigger some. But who cares. Why are people bogged down with double standards?

I'm a guy, telling before-hand so if anyone wanna label me a misogynist, go right ahead.

I've seen so many posts on Insta, not a good sample space source IK, but the posts put there were by people. When a girl wants something in a guy, it's appreciated, never settle for less and all that melodrama, but when a guy put forth his desires in a woman (I'm not talking about virgin girl, although one is allowed to have that preference if the guy is virgin by choice not circumstance which is an entirely different topic altogether) he is bashed? "Take what you get, be happy you deserve that, she deserves better". These woke women are collectively chastising men and incels who never had female attention are bashing women. Why?

Women say they don't need a man, rarely I've heard men say they don't need women, there are those who say the latter but in a less population than the former. Both parties need each other and if you think you don't then you are stupid. This man vs bear argument showed two things, first their lack of faith in men and their lack of survival skills.

I'm just curious as to what could actually fix this. These double standards. This, you hate me, I hate you BS.
