Horizon’s Red Herrings (Full Spoilers!)

Did anyone else get completely fooled by the OP and logo?

I can’t have been the only one who thought THE ENTIRE TIME, from the first view of the opening before it even came out in Japan, that the figure at the end was Grendel Agnes.

Knowing how much they love kinda obviously “spoiling”/foreshadowing things in trailers, I thought for sure it was her and played the whole game expecting she would ultimately be our opponent as the final boss. For all the bad rep this place gets about carelessly spoiling others, everyone here never even gave me the slightest indication of Kincaid being the ultimate twist villain in any of the threads where I’ve talked and read about DB1/2 for hours upon hours, and I thank you for that.

On top of that though, I also thought without a shadow of a doubt, that the figure in the logo of the game was the Grandmaster. I mean of course it’s the Grandmaster, looks just like her robes silhouette, and the new halo seemed like it would be some interesting plot point. This whole time, I never gave it a second thought. I’ve looked at it countless times. Again, my surprise when that was actually Agnes the whole time. 😭
