What do you think should be taught in ENG 101 or 102 classes?

As an English major, I was thinking about my first year comp classes, and it's always the same boring reading that everyone has to do. Especially the ethos, pathos, and logos. I was thinking that if I were a professor, I would include podcasts, or maybe something even fictional, in that type of class that could be fun but still educational, rather than those boring textbooks. What do you think? Would you change the curriculum if you could? What would you add?
