What's up with Ray Wang

There’s this guy who’s kind of low-key infamous in the BABS crowd. I saw him pop up in one of my classes this term and my mates immediately started gossiping about him.

I’ve had him in a few classes throughout my degree, and he’s always given off slightly strange vibes. I don’t know if this breaks the rules of this sub (happy to take it down if it does), but I’m genuinely curious why people seem to have such strong opinions about him.

I had a short conversation with him over Teams a while back and was just trying to be polite, but the interaction felt oddly intense and uncomfortable. I can’t really put my finger on it. He comes across like an international student, but beyond that I honestly don’t know what his deal is.

Not trying to start drama or anything and ill take this down if im breaking rules but likejust wondering if there’s some context I’m missing, or if others have had similar experiences.
