Felt like a Tekken fossil at an anime convention

Played Tekken at an anime convention a few weekends ago and realized I was basically the only “older” player there, aside from the special guests like Justin Wong and Rooflemonger (both super nice, by the way).

After a few matches someone asked how long I’d been playing. I told him I started around Tekken 2 or Tekken 3.

I think I accidentally blew his mind.

I’m also a Bryan player, so that probably didn’t help my “ancient villain arc” image lol.

I guess I’m officially part of the Tekken historical archives now.

Made me curious as to how long has everyone here been playing? What was your first game in the series?
