Can Dragon Flags replace pulling exercises when there’s no pull-up bar?

the best way to maintain pulling strength?

I was wondering about the dragon flag I know it’s primarily considered a core exercise, but it requires intense lat engagement and upper back tension to keep the body rigid and control the descent. Because of that, I’m curious whether it can provide any meaningful pulling stimulus.

Can dragon flags help maintain lat and upper-back strength, or are they strictly an anti-extension core movement with minimal carryover to pulling strength?

If they aren’t sufficient, what bodyweight alternatives would you suggest in a no-equipment situation?

Thanks in advance!
