25M with legal background trying to move from $40k range to $60k+ — what path makes sense?

Advice

Hi everyone I’m 25 and recently relocated to Georgia (Atlanta area). I’m trying to transition from hourly/server work into a more stable career path that realistically gets me into the $55k–$70k range within the next 1–2 years.

Background:

•	Bachelor’s in Legal Studies & Philosophy

•	2 years law office experience (paralegal / legal assistant)

•	Experience in admin, government exposure, hospitality, and some trade work

•	Strong writing and communication skills

Currently earning around $3.4k/month working service jobs while job searching.

Questions:

1.	What roles would realistically get me into the $60k range fastest?

2.	Should I lean into paralegal, pivot to compliance, contracts, insurance, or something else?

3.	Are certifications worth it (or waste of time)?

4.	What skills should I be building right now to increase earning power?

I’m willing to work hard even have multiple jobs and keep serving and bartending on the side just want to focus my effort in the right direction.

Appreciate any insight.
