Unable to return my FMM form on time, will I get in trouble?

I received an FMM form for my 7 day stay in Mexico. However with the recent incidents that went on today, many roads were blocked and transportation became a hassle so now I’m arriving a day late. Will returning my FMM form be troublesome? Will I get fined for something out of my control?
