want to pledge but got arrested.

I attended rush for this sorority i want to join but a week later i ended up getting arrested for a misdemeanor. do you guys think my chances are over just because of the arrest ? i haven’t been convicted and I’m out on bond. Acceptance letters haven’t been sent out yet but i’m worried that if i do get accepted and i complete the background check it will run my chances.
