How should I handle my girlfriend constantly telling me to change my hair?

My (29F) girlfriend keeps telling me to change my hairstyle.

I’ve had long hair my entire life — long before I met her. It’s not messy or unkempt. It’s just longer, kind of like how Bradley Cooper wears his hair, or how Christian Bale had it in The Wolf of Wall Street, or Matthew McConaughey — a bit longer on top and brushed back.

A few months ago, she saw an old photo of me from a brief period when I had it cut short. Ever since then, she’s been bringing it up constantly — multiple times a week — telling me I should cut it again. She sends me pictures of haircuts she thinks would look better and keeps pushing the idea.

At first, I tried to handle it calmly and nicely: “No thanks, I like my hair the way it is.”

She’ll respond by pouting and saying, “Why? I think you’d look so good with this haircut.”

I kept brushing it off and saying no, but it’s honestly getting really fucking annoying.

The last time she brought it up, I told her, “I didn’t ask for your opinion. I’m keeping it how it is.”

Then the very next week, she brought it up again. That’s when I finally said, “If you want to date a guy with short hair, that’s your choice — but that’s not me.” Then I cut the night short and just went home.

I’m just seeing it as a red flag. If I say no to bigger things she’ll just keep pushing and pushing hoping I’ll give in. She acts as though I’m being dramatic”

Granted she has tattoos. I hate tattoos… I don’t go around telling her “I think you should get them removed” in fact I’ve never even mentioned them at all.
