problems with caller id

Because of privacy concerns, I'd like to prevent my phone number from showing up on other people's caller IDs.

When my father passed, I had to call many people and places to arrange his funeral. Afterwards, the sheer amount of spam calls for all sorts of things was enormous! That was many years ago, but my brother just passed recently. So again, I'm making loads of calls to make arrangements. Is there a way to hide my number from showing up on caller ID? I just started the process of making arrangements, but sheer number of spam calls already...sigh...
