Is it worth the hassle to figure out how to wire up a dashcam using the preinstalled wires or just install a dash cam to the fuse box the old fashion way?

I recently saw a post saying that the new models of camrys' already have the wiring needed to install a dashcam but you need a special connector, sautering/connectors, etc. I don't understand nor know how to do any of that

However, doing a common install using the fuse box does make a little more sense to me so I will probably just do it that way and avoid any possible extra trouble

Out of curiosity, is it better/easier to figure out how to connect a dash cam using the preinstalled wires or is there not a big difference between the 2 methods and whatever works best for you is the best option?
