First Gen Hunter starting from scratch in Michigan, do we have any groups?

First gen hunter here, my grandpa and uncle's did, but dad had zero interest in hunting so I'm basically starting from scratch. I'm a former chef who's always been comfortable in the outdoors (camping, backpacking) and have fished for years, but recently transitioned to the white collar world and am looking to explore hunting.
