Is the CPHR worth it [Canada]

I have worked hr assistant for 1 year starting the second and was thinking of doing the HR certification from Simon Fraser university online, which can lead to a CPHR cert. I was looking at the fees for it and it literally reads like some sort of pyramid scheme or something I am paying them 440 dollars to not take a test because I already certified through an nstitution crazy.
