Just finished the show and thought the ending was apt but..

I feel like every character developed a lot and none of the children were worthy successors (mostly because of their upbringing and the silver spoon aspect) but I feel like Shiv as a character didn’t develop much because she didn’t lose much. Kendall has undeniably learnt with his downfalls (the death of the server, people shutting him out, getting told the hard cold truth by his father of him not having a killer instinct), Roman has naturally had good instincts but was childish in his behaviour (maybe because how he was abused in his childhood) but nevertheless, his dad passing away hit him hard and made him quite mature when compared to the earlier version of him. Shiv on the other hand, always got what she wanted because of her manipulative personality (arguably a trait that came from her mother) and when she didn’t (for e.g when she was promised the CEO position from her dad, or even Mattson), she would go into full on ‘revenge’ mode, almost showing the entitlement/narcissistic/selfish part of her. In the end as well, she couldn’t see Kendall having the throne to himself which is why she chose to blame him for things she could have blamed him before for, but again, she got what she wanted. Her husband in power and her continuing with her manipulative and non-evolved character.
