Is authentic pizza made in Italy really that much better than Domino’s?

I eat Domino’s pretty often, and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it.

I tried pizza from an Italian-owned place once, and it was definitely better than Domino’s—but not to the point where it was that much better.
