My 30-day Reddit posting experiment: data, doubts, and one clear winner
I committed to posting on Reddit every day for 30 days to promote my tool, Reoogle. The goal was learning, not just traffic. I tracked everything: subreddit, time posted, post type (question, story, data), upvotes, comments. The biggest surprise wasn't about timing or subreddit size. It was about intent. Posts where I openly shared a failed assumption or a specific lesson (like how I used https://reoogle.com to find that mid-sized communities often outperform massive ones) generated 3x more meaningful discussion than posts where I just shared a win. Vulnerability, not victory, drove connection. The experiment's over, but the lesson is now part of how I build in public.
