which best business laptops 2026 are solid for long term use?

i’m trying to figure out which best business laptops 2026 are actually worth it if you plan to use them for years. not just something fast now, but something that still holds up after heavy daily use.

i mostly care about build quality, battery, and not slowing down after a year or two. i’ve had laptops before that start great then just fall apart or get super laggy.

i see a lot of mixed opinions online so i’d rather hear from people who actually use theirs for work every day. what brands or models have lasted you the longest without issues?

also curious if it’s better to spend more upfront or just upgrade more often. what’s been your experience?
