Yall I never thought I’d be this person but..

My dood does the most precious thing gang. When I come home I pull my car up to where my dog Jupiter can see me from my window and she’s almost always already perched there in the window right as I pull up. So just organically I gradually got caught up in those moments and began to hype her up in a high pitched cutesy falsetto thing while saying stuff like “is that my sweet baby is that you can it be is it real?!” Just goofy stuff but it swiftly made it to where if she wasn’t already in the window all I had to do was make those type sounds and she would pop up immediately and usually with a chew toy in her mouth and doggy sleep in her eyes.

Anyhow I had never really considered that that’s really only time I talk to her like that (my normal voice is lower, raspy and once described as sounding like tom waits if he had late stage tuberculosis) so it just melted my heart when I got a wild hair and made those high pitched hypes on the couch sitting right next to my angelic doodlebug and she seemed to Pavlovianly jump to the window to see if I was out there. She’s simple yall but she might be the best thing in my world
