Should I be concerned about my chest pain shifting again?
I’ve been having chest pains for a long time and when I first developed them they were central and would sometimes feel like an ache or even like a crushing sensation, I saw a cardiologist who did some tests like a CT scan, bloods, X-rays and all of these were cleared and I’m told it’s anxiety mixed with muscular pain
As the months went on the pain shifted to the left side and it wouldn’t hurt in the centre, so I’ve been the er a few times and again told it’s anxiety or muscular
Now the pain has shifted again back to the centre and feels exactly the same as it used to, if I press down the part where the rib connects to the sternum hurt a lot. Also I noticed with movement the pain is worse
I was diagnosed with a hiatal hernia a few weeks ago and did drink alcohol 2 days ago so not sure if this could be reflux related? I other wise feel fine. I’ve had the pain for 24 hours now, typical my flare ups unwound last months at a time
I have no other symptoms but do feel very anxious l, am I likely fine? 29 male
