Security forces during X-Ray and Sonography school?

I plan on attending X-Ray and Sonography school which should take around 3.5 years. I want to serve in the national guard during that time as well but I’ve reached out to the army national guard and they don’t seem to have an option for me. I want to see if it were possible to join the air guard and study X-Ray and Sonography while I’m in the guard. What is the lifestyle of most security forces in the guard? What opportunities does being a security force specialist give you? What do they really do in the guard?
