H-1B transfer with delayed payroll from current employer

Hello everyone!

I’m in H-1B status and planning a transfer to a new employer.

My situation with my current employer is a bit complicated:

• I am still actively working and have not been terminated.
• My employer has had cash flow issues and payroll has been delayed over the past several months.
• I have received some catch-up paychecks, but they were issued late and correspond to earlier pay periods.
• I have documentation showing I continued working (emails, project records, etc.)

Has anyone gone through an H-1B transfer with a similar payroll delay situation?

Any experiences or insights would be really appreciated.
