Struggle street: 4 months post partum

Anyone else at 4 months (ish) postpartum and hitting a wall?

I feel like the hormones that were getting me through have gone, my baby is sleeping terribly (which means I am), and I’m just not getting the help from my “village” that I was hoping for.

My baby never slept more than 4 hour stretches but now he’s up multiple times a night and cat napping in the day. My family doesn’t help like I thought they would (or they’ve always said they would) and I find myself so jealous of people who had parents who are super involved.

I guess I’m looking for stories of solidarity or a light at the end of the tunnel, reminding me it gets better!
