Using Google Pixel with SIM or eSIM in Syria

Hello everyone, I have a Google Pixel 9 and want to visit Syria in May. I wouldn't mind not being able to use Wi-Fi (see problem described > here <) if I could use a Syrian prepaid SIM or eSIM card from Syriatel or MTN instead.

Does anyone have experience using and activating a Syrian SIM card in Syria in a Google Pixel normally operated in the EU? Does it work without any problems as long as you don't use Wi-Fi?

Thanks
