Fortnite startup stuck on 30 fps for 10 minutes then goes back to usual fps.

I haven't touched fortnite in forever, got back to the game and this sh** happens. Like come on bro, it only happens when you start up the game and you gotta sit in the lobby twiddling your thumbs til your fps counter gives you the thumbs up. Anyone else have this issue?
