Kitchen Layout Questions
Hello!
I had a post here earlier that was extremely helpful and now I'm coming back for more. We realized the kitchen was eating up too much of the living room so we moved the pantry to the other side of the room, and now I'm wrestling with a few things:

Is the breakfast nook/banquet seating the best idea of the area under the windows in the top/left part of the kitchen?

It feels like dining table should be centered on the windows, and there's not enough clearance between island and dining table. Alignment is currently set so that the pantry/fridge panel/island cabinetry all align on the bottom edge. We could probably cut out a foot or so on the long cabinet run on the right to get back some space, or could abandon the alignment on the bottom edge and pull the island up. Speaking of that - is there a particular way we should go about locating the island?
- We're questioning adding in a cabinet/countertop for a coffee bar (18" or 21" deep x 30") between the door & the breakfast nook. What do you think about this idea? Note, the door is to a side covered porch that we don't anticipate using too often.
