Where can I sell my book as an indie author in Sydney?

I just finished writting my first book and I plan to self publish it. I was wondering if anyone has been through the same process and if they actually went to any particular markets in Sydney te sell their book ?

Do book stores in Sydney accept books from new authors?

Any additional advice would be more then helpful.
