I’m going to answer this carefully and simply, because this is one of the places people either become repressed or self-deceptive.

I've received many requests to discuss this topic, so I'm going to bring it up first before continuing into the topics of Worlds and the Lights, considering it also addresses the misunderstood idea of Lishma and Lo-Lishma.

We’ll stay structural, with no shame, no moral overlay, no devotional pressure, which are all self-imposed and require unskillful, over-energized reactions which always conclude in shame, dissatisfaction, embarrassment, tension, or any other coercive state of extra effort and energy leakage; that’s not Lishma \~ it’s certainly Lo-Lishma.

*Warning: Anyone claiming that you can attain Lishma simply by reading something you didn't understand or can't put into practical use, or by praying for it, or demanding it, or by using force that feels nonsensical, or is totally faith based without any application, is either lying to you, taking advantage of you, or is simply ignorant of the authentic Teaching.*

# FIRST, A BIG FACT: Sexual desire is not a special “category” of spirituality or mysticism.

So let’s stop making it different than any other category of **action** that's driven by **desire**. It’s not.

Let’s also stop completely regurgitated misunderstood teaching that causes repression or over-spotlighting it disguised as healing and correction. It's only going to cause more trauma and more habitual tendencies, building even more destabilization in the vessel, which only leads to further corrections or restrictions.

Actions do not cause correction or healing, only the impulse behind them, and whether it's overly energized or repressed through shame or abuse, through selfish (Lo-Lishma) motives which are always defragmented from the Light (Lishma).

**However**, sexual impulse and craving is one of the strongest indicators and expressions of the will to receive. But we've already learned the will to receive is necessary; it's the intention behind the will to receive that's important.

# Because sexual desire itself carries:

* Bonding
* Identity
* Validation
* Pleasure
* Vulnerability
* Power
* Attachment
* Biological drive

It is a high-amplitude value gradient, which makes it a very good diagnostic of **Masach stability** (commentary required).

# Lo Lishma vs Lishma in Sexuality (without spiritual or symbolic inference)

With regard to sexual desire itself: we’re not talking about morality or ethical virtue, we’re simply talking about regulatory orientation.

# Lo Lishma (Mechanically)

# Lo Lishma in sexuality means:

* The desire is serving self-stabilization.
* Urgency regulates inner tension.
* Validation reduces identity threat.
* Pleasure discharges discomfort.

The other person is partially instrumentalized even if affection is real, even if love is real.

# Because the system is still using sexuality to:

* secure safety
* regulate emotion
* reduce prediction error

This is totally natural, normal – this is just human. This is not **evil**, but it is **compensatory**, so it is discoherent and defragmented from the Light, which is the antithesis of effortless Lishma (with the Light).

# Lishma (Mechanically)

# Lishma in sexuality does not mean:

* No pleasure
* No enjoyment
* No desire
* No intensity

It means: The desire is no longer a strategy for self-stabilization.

# The sexual act is not:

* Regulating anxiety
* Proving vitality
* Preventing abandonment
* Confirming worth

It becomes: Participation in mutual experience without defensive urgency; the difference is internal.

What restructures desire is: Tolerating the urge without needing it to stabilize you. Whether you say: “I serve the Creator,” or “I preserve equivalence of form,” or nothing at all, is secondary.

The correction is not happening because of the phrase, or the thought of the phrase.

# It is happening because:

* You are not collapsing urgency into action.
* You are allowing prediction error to exist.
* You are expanding time horizon.
* You are decoupling desire from self-threat.

That’s the mechanism (commentary required).

# How Sexuality Changes As Binah Stabilizes

This is where it gets subtle and important.

# 1. Urgency Reduces

# Before:

* Sexual impulse may carry tension
* Release feels necessary
* Delay feels uncomfortable

# After:

* Impulse arises
* But does not command
* Delay feels neutral
* Expression becomes optional

**That is Binah influencing desire.**

# 2. Fantasy Loses Compensatory Weight

# Fantasy often serves:

* Identity reinforcement
* Dominance scripts
* Validation scripts
* Escape

# As modeling stabilizes:

* Some fantasy structures lose appeal
* Intensity may decrease
* But depth increases

**Because the nervous system no longer needs intensity to feel secure.**

# 3. Connection Becomes Less About Proof

# Before:

* Sex may reassure attachment
* Confirm desirability
* Prevent abandonment
* Reduce insecurity

# After:

* Connection stands on its own
* Sexual expression is not used to regulate attachment anxiety
* It becomes cleaner

# 4. No Shame Afterward

One of the biggest signs of Lishma structurally is:

# After the act:

* No internal contraction
* No subtle depletion
* No identity shift
* No need for narrative justification
* Malchut receives without fragmentation

**That’s Lishma.**

# Important Clarification

# You do not heal sexuality by:

* Suppressing it
* Reducing pleasure
* Framing it devotionally
* Denying desire
* Turning it into spiritual exercise

You heal sexuality (any action) by allowing desire without using it to regulate self-worth, **that’s Binah stabilization.**

Where devotional language can become distortion and defragmented: If you tell yourself, “I must do this for the Creator.”

# Because you may accidentally begin to introduce:

* Self-monitoring
* Moral Performance
* Subtle Suppression
* Identity Pressure

And that activates **Gevurah**, not **Binah**.

Kabbalah’s healing or correction is not moral pressure; it’s always simply structural recalibration.

# What True Lishma Feels Like

# It feels like:

* Relaxed
* Mutual
* Unforced
* Non-defensive
* Present
* Complete

There is no grab; there’s no “I need this.” In fact, there’s no self-evaluation running at all.

**Pleasure remains, compulsion drops.**

# The Deep Structural Marker

If I compress the entire transformation, it would be something like: Sexual desire (all desire, inevitably) becomes Lishma when it’s no longer used to resolve internal instability, not when it is reframed spiritually, and not when it is restrained. Only when it’s no longer compensatory, which only arrives through healing or correction.

The honest reality is that very few people operate entirely in Lishma sexually; most fluctuate, and that’s okay.

The direction matters, not “purity”, because again purity needs force, unless it's natural and effortless (without tension, without extra energy dispersion).

# One sentence as an overview

You are not healing sexuality by **serving the Creator.** You are healing sexuality (and every other intentional function) by removing its role as a forced or coerced self-stabilization strategy.

The Creator (Light) is not demanding your service; the Creator is simply offering you the opportunity for Coherence with It, and since it's free of distortion, you become undistorted as well.

This removes religion, faith, servitude, morals and ethics, dedication, forced observance of laws or rules, etc. Because in Coherence, all these things exist normally and naturally rather than forced through energy and coercion.

Remember, Coherence requires no extra efforts or the feelings of micro-tensions, disruptions or fragmentation, exactly what the Creator wants for you, because Coherence with the Light is effortless = freedom.

**That’s the whole mechanism of ‘from Lolishma to Lishma'.**
