Jealous of my younger self

I feel like I have lost my inspiration
that I used to have as a child.
Now I am jealous of my younger self—
how I used to play and roam my neighborhood
with no real responsibilities,
dreaming of a better future.

And now
I am just a corporate employee
with no hopes for the future
and no friends to roam with.
