Anything I can do to help my cat while she’s in heat?

I recently adopted a stray cat and have had her for a few weeks, she’s been doing very well but just went into heat yesterday. She hasn’t been spayed yet because she just got all of her vaccines 2 weeks ago and needed an antibiotic for an infection she had gotten while she was outside from a fight with another cat. The vet told us to wait at least 3 weeks to get her spayed so the antibiotic had time to completely get rid of the infection. I’ve never had a female cat before so I wasn’t super sure about heats. My male cat is neutered so I’m not worried about her getting pregnant. I’ve looked a few things up but she doesn’t seem to be any more comfortable. I’ve hardly gotten any sleep because she’s been up screaming all night. I feel really bad and want to make her more comfortable. Is there anything I can do?
