DSA Marxist Caucus or PSL?
Should I join one of the many Marxist caucuses in DSA? Marxist Unity Group, Red Star, Reform & Revolution, Communist Caucus, Bread & Roses, and Springs of Revolution. Should I join PSL? I have been active in DSA for a little over a month. I have read enough theory that I consider myself or want to be a Marxist Leninist; however, I am finding all of it overwhelming to go through. I understand explore, but it seems like it is so much that it will take me forever. I live in Houston, TX. Curgently, as things are, DSA seems to do more, but PSL might be doing more eventually since they have a building now. I am for PSL, but I do not understand why PSL doesn't promote entryism. I believe we should influence bigger left tent orgs like DSA to become more revolutionary. This is why the caucuses interest me a lot; however, I am not as well versed as I would like to be in Marxist Leninist theory. PSL provides that education or at least they seem to with the 1st membership meeting process they told me about; however, again why not entryism? Secondly, why are there so many Marxist caucuses in DSA? Can I join all of them? Do they conflict with each other and if so, how? What is each caucus focused on? I want to hear my fellow Marxist's experience in navigating this highly divided world of no I am the true vanguard party claimship. I just want to know where I can organize more and where I can learn to organize, gain experiments to become a leader in organizing, and learn deep Marxist leninist theory.
