Brown Eyes
I struggled to look her in the eyes…
they were big, brown and undeniably persuasive.
Even just once glance sends me into a deep, hypnotic
and unforgiving trance.
The shiny but promising glimpse in her beautiful eyes
sang sweet lullabies to my feigning soul.
I indulged heavily in this angelic song, as every tune
precariously danced through my vacant mind and out
my beating heart.
Her gaze is forever in-bedded in my daydreams.
