6 days since exposure

hi, everyone. I need help and I dont know who talk to anymore. I am scared. really scared.

on 2/19: I decided to have anal sex with another man. my 1st time. he said he was on prep. showed me a screenshot of a the result on mymistr.com. I was bleeding pretty bad so I stopped it.

on 2/24: I started developing chills and fatigue. fever floats around 100°-100.8°. no other symptoms yet...

I am so scared right now that I contracted HIV. I went to the doctor today and asked for an HIV test.

I am so scared. I don't know what to do or think anymore.

do hiv symptoms rear its head this early? within 6 days? or there's a chance this could be something else?
