Product design(or) UX/UI

personally, although i haven't researched much on product design, I'm interested in it, alot. It's something i feel that one day can get very better at with time. Meanwhile i have heard from career counselors that uxui has much more future, and there is a good scope for me in this feild.

are jobs in product design rly that less? Will there be a future in this feild in the future? And what about uxui? Is it rly a feild where theres a much better chance at getting a job?
