New to bourbon, should I shell out for these

Hi everyone,

I’m just starting to get into bourbon and I’ve been told by my dad and other family/friends that I need to try Eagle Rare 10, and Weller Antique 107.

I live in a tourist hotspot so bottles in my area are basically always marked up. I want to preface with say I don’t have any problem with local liquor stores marking up their product especially allocated stuff, at least in this area because of tourism. Rent is high and the local population is rather small, so take advantage of the tourist when you can.

The two shops in the town I live in offer local discounts, which are about 10%, that being said they have. Said they’d give me a better price for certain bottles.

This where the eagle rate and the 107 come . I could drive down about 45+ minutes to hunt in a mid sized city, but would rather save time and support local businesses if it’s worth it. They have Eagle Rate 10 for $77 at 750mL, and 107 at $200 at 750mL (but they offered it to me at $150)

I haven’t done enough hunting to say if it’s worth the time, gas, and effort to drive over 1 hour round trip just to see if I can find a better price.

Please advise, And this is in Nevada if that matters
