I MESSED UP ON MY FIRST DAY ( please read body and please help)

I got my first macbook pro yesterday and it is my first apple product and after setting it up i thought that my original password is too weak so i changed it and used it 2- 3 times and today after i woke up i used touch id to unlock but then i went to add another finger to touch id and it required the password and i entered the pass and it happened to incorrect i tried upper case , lower case everything but it didn't seem to work and i thought maybe it is a different pass so i pressed the power button and thought of unlocking it using the password instead of touch id and after i entered the password it said incorrect pass and cant use touch id either so i had to use the forgot password option and reset the password and there seem to be few settings which I had changed yesterday gone back to default for eg touch id had been erased etc
please tell me what to should i do now
has anything changed in my macbook??
and i cloud sync wants me to put old pass and it is saying the password u used on your other mac (i don't have any other mac)
