I just returned to kpop after 15 years away, overwhelmed and looking for recommendations. What boy groups are good nowadays?

I was hardcore into kpop via TVXQ in the mid 2000s, and completely stopped from 2010 - 2025 after they split up. A couple months ago I rediscovered kpop again via SHINee. A lot has changed, there are 10x more active groups, and the amount of content out there is honestly overwhelming.

I want to catch up a bit, but haven't came across any group with comparable vocals to TVXQ and SHINee yet. Anyone familiar with both old and new groups and know their strengths can point me to some songs or groups to check out? I'm partial to strong live performances and will do full album listen throughs or watch full concert recordings.

(Someone said EXO is good and I've watched Baekhyun's recent solo concert, but it seems like the fandom is going through stuff right now? I'm also somewhat aware of Big Bang's hits and intend to catch up on them before coachella)
