'22 Lariat ER m/kwh Question

Hey everybody. Just bought the truck off a friend today. It has the Toyo Open Country A/T III tires on it. I'm a little worried about the power consumption. I just drove it around town pretty gingerly, never getting above 55mph, and got 1.7 miles per kwh. Does this seem normal? I have been reading numbers closer to 2-2.3m/kwh. Any help or clues would be appreciated. I'm planning on buying more efficient tires.
