Finally seeing an ENT
After 22 years of living with this shite as it just gets worse and worse and over a year on a wait list, I finally have an appointment with an ENT coming up. I'm lucky my GP took me seriously, but I'll be honest, I can't believe my referral got accepted.
Got no idea how it's going to go, considering this'll just be some random ENT. Don't know if they know the first thing about R-CPD or that it even exists at all. But though I did look into the private route first, I just don't have that kind of money. In my dreams, maybe.
Going through the public system is the only option I have.
So, yeah. Rest assured, I'm prepared to be disappointed, but tentatively hopeful. I'm just glad to finally be trying something instead of sitting around wishing I was.
I'd be curious to hear, if anyone else has been to an unspecified ENT for this, if they managed to get anywhere? Any advice?
Hope you're all keeping well.
