Partner wants to convert to Orthodoxy.. while I am strongly drawn to Catholicism. Help me please.

My partner grew up in the LDS church, left a few years ago, and became a self practicing Christian. I became a born again self practicing Christian in the end of 2022.

The past months have been horrible to me and I prayed to God to help me find the true church to go to as I really needed to strengthen my faith and connection with Him. One night I was shifting through some belongings and found a rosary a friend had given me years and years ago. I knew in my heart that Catholicism was the right decision then and there...

However, my partner doesn't trust in the Catholic Church, says that they removed books from the bible and that there is corruption. He thinks Orthodox is the true church for this reason.

I'm heartbroken because I can't see myself belonging to an Orthodox church. It would genuinely feel so wrong, like I'm committing a horrible sin. I don't know what to do. We've been together almost 5 years and have a son together.
