Breast Pain (TMI)

Does anyone experience breast pain?

Before I start this post, I want to express how much I LOVE the Mirena IUD. I've been using Mirena for 8.5 years, on my second one.

However, I'm curious to know if anyone experiences breast pain.

A few years ago my breast started becoming very tender (specifically around my monthly cycle time). I have smaller breasts and would need to hold them sometimes walking down the stairs because they were so tender. It was always in both and would go away after awhile.

However, this last week I have been experiencing extreme pain in my right breast. In a specific spot. It hurts so bad to touch it. It's the area behind my nipple (I'm so sorry for the TMI)

My left breast isn't bothering me, but the right one just doesn't feel tender, it hurts on a whole other level.

I have a doctor's appointment booked, but cannot see my family doctor until April.

I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this or if I should go to a walk in clinic?
