Is sig a beeg deal?

Last day (or 2) of Aemeath's banner. I saw varying opinions about how big of an upgrade (or not) her sword is over EoG. So, which one is it really? Please give decent answers and not something like, "pull it for her". I wouldn't be asking this if I can afford every single char I like with their weapons
